As technology advances, we are able to capture images of babies, long before their arrival, with ultrasound imaging. Although most women are given one or two diagnostic ultrasounds, due to busy schedules and hospital policy, many are not given more than a quick glimpse in 2D and are unable to share the experience with their partner or siblings.
Growing Joy Imaging's service will at no time be used in place of a mother's diagnostic ultrasound with their obstetrician, but as a compliment to their services. Patient safety is of utmost concern as well. The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) recognizes that parents are pursuing elective ultrasounds and encourages patients to make sure practitioners using ultrasound have received specific training in fetal imaging. They also recommend that appropriately trained and credentialed professionals, who have received training in fetal imaging, perform these scans. At Growing Joy Imaging, rest assured that we have received the proper training, education, and hold the necessary certification - RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Professional) to perform these elective ultrasounds.
Our expectant mothers will enjoy a warm, welcoming office, and can be joined by as many guests as our facility will seat. They can choose the package of their choice and will be able to watch their entire ultrasound on the big screen while lying on a comfortable bed. Mothers and guests can talk freely while enjoying the images of their precious little one. When the scan is over, the mother will be able to take home printed images and a video of the entire scan.
